Time needed: 27 minutes

How to Make Bacon Jalapeño Mummies

  1. Preheat the Oven

    Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Mix the Filling

    In a small bowl add cream cheese, pepper jack cheese, and bacon and mix until combined.

  3. Slice the Jalapenos

    Slice the jalapenos in half lengthwise and seed and core them.

  4. Fill the Jalapenos

    Spoon in cream cheese mixture into jalapenos.

  5. Cut the Strips

    Pinch two crescents together to form a rectangle. With a knife or pizza cutter slice each rectangle into 10 thin strips.

  6. Wrap the Mummies

    Wrap 2-3 strips around stuffed jalapenos. Making sure to leave some space for the eyes.

  7. Bake the Mummies

    Bake 12-14 minutes

  8. Give them Eyes

    Remove from the oven and let cool for 10 minutes. Place the candy eyes into the jalapenos.
