Leo Morales’s newest creation is this baby…the Caribbean Cuban Sandwich. It’s loaded with marinated Cuban style pork, green and red peppers, onions, mojo, oil, Goya seasoning and a twist…jalapenos! “People are loving it! We sold 20 on the first day of release,” said Morales.
For Morales, Cuban food is a passion. When he thinks of new things for the menu his mind will go to a million places. “I love thinking about new things for the menu,” said Morales with a smile.
HFN has showcased Havana Cafe‘s authentic Cuban cuisine before. Check out our Facebook post showing their Tostones, Maduros and Empanadas! This is the only place in Eastern Washington you can get food like this!
If you want to try their newest creation, you can eat one for yourself at their food truck at 1335 Lee Blvd. in Richland or in Pasco at their restaurant on 4th and Lewis.
“You’ll love one,” said Morales. I tried one and it’s great!
