The World’s Best Banana Daiquiri is a nice change from the strawberry daiquiri is a frozen Cuban cocktail. It’s made with bananas, lime juice, simple syrup, Cointreau, Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum, and ice. Then it’s topped with a Whipped Cream made from heavy whipping cream, cane sugar, and vanilla extract.
This recipe calls for a Simple Syrup which is made by heating equal parts water and cane sugar. Do not overcook the syrup as it will caramelize. Heat just enough to dissolve the sugar and then remove from the heat and cool down in a refrigerator until cold.
The banana daiquiri is easy to make and is a popular frozen cocktail. Daiquiris come in many flavors like strawberry, mango, banana, pineapple, watermelon, cherry, and the Hemmingway Daiquiri, to name a few.
So break out the blender and put on some Cuban music for the best Mango Daiquiri you have ever tasted.

The World’s Best Banana Daiquiri
- 2 bananas chopped and frozen
- 1 lime juiced
- 1 tbsp simple syrup
- 1 oz Cointreau
- 2 oz Mount Gay Black Barrel Rum
- 1 cups ice
- 2 oz heavy whipping cream
- 1 tsp cane sugar
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ¼ cup water
- ¼ cup sugar
- Combine equal parts water and cane sugar by weight and heat this mixture until it is completely clear. Once it is completely cooled to room temperature pour the syrup into a clean squeeze bottle and refrigerate.
- Combine heavy whipping cream, cane sugar, and vanilla extract into a mixing bowl and beat at high speed until stiff peaks form.
- Add bananas, lime juice, simple syrup, Cointreau, and Rum, into a blender and mix until smooth.
- Add in one ice cube at a time until the mix is thick and slushy.
- Pour the mix into a tall glass.
- Add Whipped Topping on top of the mix.
- Garnish with a slice of strawberry.
